Three Things Needed To Make Money Online

Hello is me, Lee Fuller, and today I want to give you the three things you need to make money okay, it’s not as difficult as people make it seem.

You just need three things to make money online.

Number One – You need People.

You need people (aka a Market) that are interested enough in what you’re selling to potentially give you money. So if you are in this obscure niche and there’s not enough people in it you won’t make any money, or if you have this niche that people are interested in, but is not really a money niche or a passion niche you can’t sell them anything.

You have to have people in order to make money, and you need to be able to get in front of those people, via lead generation, speaking, social networking etc.

That’s not rocket science, everybody knows in order to make money you’ve got to have people that are willing to buy your stuff.

Number Two – The next thing you need is a Product.

So Mike Filsaime a brilliant marketer and creator of WebinarJam said something that I’ll never forget at one of the marketing masterminds, he said, “We don’t make money, no one makes money, people give you money, so we have to give them something that’s more valuable to them than their money.”

Isn’t that good?

So if a person’s going to give you money your product has to be more important to them than their money, or the result they can get from your product has to be more important to them than their money.

See, the value they get from your product not only has to be more important to them than their money, but it needs to provide more value to them than their money, very simply, the reason I go to the grocery store and buy food, is because food is more valuable than the money I spent because I can eat and live!

That means your coaching program, your exercise equipment, your diet plan, your branding services have to be more valuable than the money that they paid for it.

In our company, we build websites and marketing programs, our marketing systems have to be more valuable as far as ROI, branding and business building than the money they paid for it or else they won’t remain a customer very long, so you have to find a way to build value into your products.

So you have to have a product that’s more valuable to them than money!

Let’ talk about the product creation for a second.

For a long time, I wanted to make money online and I didn’t have a product or service to sell. I was buying products and was more of a consumer, but I wasn’t a producer.

If you’re going to make money you’ve got to become a producer and not always a consumer.

What are you going to produce? What product are you going to produce so that other people can consume your product and get value from you?

Number Three – You need Payments.

Let me tell you this, I call it “You got to get buttons”, In particular BUY Buttons – You have to have a way for people to give you money.

True story: So I just started my company and was doing marketing funnels for local businesses. So I had the product, I told them we could come in and build an online sales funnel or create a marketing automation system within your company. I had a person call and say “Yes I want you to do it…”

But as we broadened to more of an online reach I didn’t have buttons, I didn’t have payment options, a payment gateway or a payment processor…in order to run credit cards or to do installments. So if you are trying to make money online and didn’t have a way for people to give me money. Tragic!

So if you’re going to make money online, you’ve got to have people that want your stuff, you have to have a product more important to them and more valuable to them than their money, and you have to give them the payment button, or a way to buy. If any of these is not there you will not make money online.

So make sure these things are in place.
